How much do I pay upfront for my fence?
Pride Fence does not require full payment upfront. We collect a deposit to schedule your project and the remainder is due upon completion. Your written estimate is the price you pay no hidden fees, ever.
How long is the warranty on my new fence?
We provide a 2–3 year installation warranty depending on fence type 2 years for wood and 3 years for steel, vinyl, and specialty fences. Material warranties from Ameristar (lifetime) and Ply Gem (lifetime transferable) apply on top of our workmanship warranty.
Are the posts for a new fence set in concrete?
Yes with the exception of some farm and field applications, every Pride Fence post is set in concrete to the appropriate depth for your soil conditions and fence height. Concrete-set posts are critical to the long-term stability of your fence.
Will I need a permit for my fence?
Most Kansas City area municipalities require a building permit for fences over a certain height typically 6 feet. Pride Fence handles all permit applications as part of every installation. You don’t need to contact the city or manage the paperwork yourself.
Will I need a survey for my fence?
A property survey may be required if your exact property line is unknown or disputed. Pride Fence can help arrange a land survey if needed. Knowing your property line before installation prevents costly legal disputes with neighbours.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes Pride Fence is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in both Kansas and Missouri. We carry full general liability insurance and can provide proof of insurance before any work begins on your property.
Am I responsible for contacting utility companies?
No Pride Fence contacts Kansas 811 and Missouri 811 on your behalf before any dig work begins. All underground utilities are marked before our crew sets a single post, protecting both your utilities and our workers.

How long will my fence project take?
